    Day 1

    Arrival in Puerto Maldonado – Introductory Walk and Night Exploration

    Welcome at the airport/bus terminal, transfer to eco-lodge, introductory walk with a naturalist guide (howler monkeys, toucans, giant trees), and night walk to spot glass frogs, insects, and nocturnal wildlife.

  2. 02
    Day 2

    Chuncho Clay Lick – Lake Sandoval and Caiman Search

    Early visit to Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick for macaw and parrot observation, breakfast outdoors, return via river (look for capybaras, caimans), lunch, then hike and paddle canoe on Lake Sandoval for otters, turtles, birds, and night caiman-spotting.

    Day 3

    Sunrise on the Lake – Botanical Walk – Return to Puerto Maldonado

    Sunrise paddle, birdwatching, botanical walk (shihuahuaco, Brazil nut, medicinal plants), return to Puerto Maldonado.
