Terms and Conditions

Wildlife Nature Peru
Effective Date: December 10, 2025

Welcome and thank you for choosing Wildlife Nature Peru for your Amazon adventure. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with us, including reservations, payments, cancellations, participation, and traveler responsibilities. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to these terms.

  1. Booking Contract and Acceptance
    A binding contract between you (the “Client”) and Wildlife Nature Peru is created when:
    • You accept a tour itinerary or program, and
    • You make the required deposit or full payment.
    If you are booking on behalf of other travelers, you guarantee you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. All travelers in your party are bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Payments and Deposits
    To confirm a booking:
    • A deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.
    • The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    • We accept payments by credit card, international bank transfer, or secure online payment link. All payments must be made in USD unless otherwise agreed.
    • If full payment is not received by the due date, we may cancel your reservation.
  3. Prices and Taxes
    All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice prior to payment. Prices do not include Peruvian sales tax (IGV). If you are eligible for an IGV tax exemption under Peruvian law, it is your responsibility to provide the required legal documentation.
  4. Cancellation and Refunds
    If you need to cancel your reservation, you must notify us in writing. Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:
    • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund less a 10% administrative fee.
    • 31 to 60 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.
    • 30 days or fewer before departure or no-show: No refund.
    If we cancel your tour due to force majeure (natural disasters, social unrest, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or similar events beyond our control), you may choose either a full refund or a future travel credit for the amount paid.
  5. Itinerary Changes
    We plan tours carefully, however tours operate in remote and natural environments. For safety or logistical reasons (weather conditions, local closures, or other factors):
    • We may modify itineraries at any time.
    • Alternative arrangements of similar value will be offered when possible.
    • Itineraries may change without prior notice.
  6. Traveler Responsibilities
    TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and luggage loss.
    PASSPORTS & VISAS: It is your responsibility to have a valid passport, visas, and any required vaccinations.
    PHYSICAL CONDITION: Some tours involve hiking, boat travel, and exposure to insects and other jungle conditions. Travelers should be in good health and able to participate safely. Notify us of any medical conditions prior to booking.
  7. Liability and Risk
    By joining our tours:
    • You acknowledge the inherent risks of travel in remote areas.
    • You agree we are not liable for loss, injury, illness, accident, delay, or damage to personal property beyond our control.
    • We act as an agent for third-party suppliers (lodges, guides, transportation, etc.), and are not liable for their acts or omissions.
  8. Use of Images and Testimonials
    With your consent, we may use photos or videos taken during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform us before the tour begins.
  9. Governing Law and Disputes
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved under Peruvian law.
  10. Updates to Terms
    We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
